Global Screen has closed further major deals for its pawsome adventure MARNIE’S WORLD. The fresh and entertaining high-profile 3D-animated film about a smart puss and her quirky friends who find themselves in a larger-than-life adventure is written and directed by the Academy Award® winners Christoph and Wolfgang Lauenstein.
A 'sold out' sign will soon put up for the film about the spoiled house cat Marnie who is lured into a secret agent job that finally brings her out onto the streets and teams her up with a bunch of runaway animals - a donkey, a dog and a rooster - to track down a gang of notorious thieves.
Munich-based sales company Global Screen announces a raft of added sales on MARNIE'S WORLD, with rights for the UK being picked up by Signature and further deals closed for Scandinavia (Scanbox), Africa (Black Sheep), the Benelux (Dutch Filmworks), Israel (Five Stars Distribution) and Poland (Kino Swiat). The film will be released by Universum Film in Germany spring 2019. Negotiations are also underway with buyers for USA and Australia.
Previously announced deals include France (Septieme Factory), Spain (Flins y Peniculas), China (Vision Film), Hungary (ADService), Latin America (CDC Film), Portugal (Films4You), Turkey (TME), Bulgaria (Pro Film), Russia & Ukraine (Voxell), Indonesia (Onevision), Middle East (Shooting Stars), Philippines (Crystalsky), South Korea (Yejilim), Vietnam (Rainfilm), Greece (Zinos Panagiotidis S.A.) and Malaysia (Suraya). Global Screen is currently in negotiations with distributors from North America and Australia. Italy, Japan, the Czech Republic and former Yugoslavia are the only territories still available.
