The Land of Plenty is the legendary land of milk and honey. Poor Paul sets out to find it and save his sick sister Magda. Once there, he meets pretty Pralina, who becomes curious about the Outside World - but will they ever let him leave?

Paul lives on the edge of town with his parents and his little sister Magda. Their lives are marked by hunger, poverty and hard work. His sister is sick and needs medicine urgently. The Jester Master Flintstone tells Paul about a land of milk and honey where no one ever has to starve - The Land of Plenty. To help save his sister, Paul sets out in search of the mythical land, finding it with the help of a lumberjack, and passes the test consisting of three questions a blind man asks him. Once he reaches The Land of Plenty, Paul meets Pralina, her father Mr. Cupcake, and Mr. Sausage, the traveling ambassador of Candyland. Pralina is touched by Paul's selflessness and falls head over heels in love with him. She realizes how dull and wasteful her life so far has been; if she could choose, she would accompany Paul to the Outside World to meet little Magda Paul is always talking about so lovingly. But young Mr. Camembert and his girlfriends Applet and Nougatine want to keep Paul here at all costs: Paul musn't return to his world now that he knows the way and could show outsiders how to get here?
