A renowned gallery owner is found bludgeoned to death in his art gallery. In the sewers behind the building, Inspector Özakin and his assistant Mustafa find the broken pieces of a priceless antique that really belongs in a museum: The "Stone Warriors" relief. Is it a case of art theft, fencing, or smuggling? Or did the killer have some other motive? Suspicion falls on the victim's widow Leyla, a co-worker of Özakin's wife, since she was locked in a bitter divorce battle with her husband. And how does the widow's attorney figure fit in?

In einem Gully hinter dem Haus stoßen Kommissar Özakin und sein Assistent Mustafa auf die Scherben eines wertvollen antiken Kunstwerks, das man sonst nur im Museum findet: das Relief "Die steinernen Krieger". Geht es um Kunstraub oder Hehlerei? Oder hatte der Täter ganz andere Motive? Die Witwe Leyla, eine Kollegin von Özakins Ehefrau, gerät unter Verdacht, steckte sie doch in einem erbitterten Rosenkrieg mit ihrem Mann. Doch welche Rolle spielt der Anwalt der Witwe?
