There is no shortage of suspects as the missing woman is wealthy, and known all over town for being particularly cold-hearted.Even her son, Sigmar becomes a person of interest - and with him his secret girlfriend, Nadine Reuter, who though only in her early 30s has already been widowed twice. Has femme fatale, Nadine convinced her lover to kill his own mother for her money? Mrs. Olm, head of the Department of Public Order, also appears to be acting suspiciously, and coachman Caspar Bogdanski has a motive too; he was driven to ruin by Brigitte Hoppe.
