Everyone is single at some time in his or her life. In this comedy an array of "super singles" run through the whole gamut of turbulent and confusing emotions. Alexa, 29 years old and editor of a Munich life-style magazine, turns out one article after another about unfaithful men, chaotic relationships and unhappy couples. Yet all her written wisdom is of no use when she suddenly falls madly in love: of all people, it is Philipp, the suave editor-in-chief, whom she wants to marry - in spite of all warnings. Philipp has the reputation of a philanderer - yet Alexa firmly believes that he is faithful to her. When she finds out, however, that her future husband has actually been unfaithful to her, she decides to teach him a real lesson on the subject of "love" and "heartbreak" with the help of her new friend Nick. Alexa sets a trap for Philipp in the shape of Nick's attractive ex-girlfriend Florentine. Yet the best laid plans of mice and men - and of "super single" - go oft astray ...

Jeder ist irgendwann im Leben einmal Single. In dieser Komödie sorgt eine ganze Reihe von "Supersingles" für turbulente Verwirrungen der Gefühle. Alexa, 29 Jahre alt und Redakteurin eines Münchner Lifestyle-Magazins schreibt sich über untreue Männer, Beziehungschaos und unglückliche Paare die Finger wund. Doch all ihre geschriebene Weisheit nützt nichts, als es Alexa plötzlich selbst schwer erwischt: Ausgerechnet den smarten Chefredakteur Philipp will sie - allen Warnungen zum Trotz - heiraten. Philipp eilt der Ruf eines Frauenhelden voraus. Doch Alexa glaubt felsenfest an Philipps Treue. Als sich allerdings herausstellt, dass ihr Gatte in spe sie tatsächlich einmal betrogen hat, will sie ihm mit Hilfe ihrer neuen Bekanntschaft Nick eine gründliche Lektion zum Thema ,,Liebe" und "Herzbrechen" erteilen: Alexa setzt Nicks attraktive Exfreundin Florentine auf Philipp an. Doch es kommt alles ganz anders, als sich Alexa das Ergebnis ihres ,,teuflischen" Plans vorgestellt hat.
