One year has passed since the hit on Semmelweis. No arrest were made, investigations have been stopped. It doesn't seem to bother him that Louis Lauener, who's suspected to be the criminal mastermind is released from prison after only one year. What Semmelweis tells no one: he's haunted by flashbacks of the assassination attempt. He makes mistakes, thereby jeopardizes the solving of a "normal" homicide. At lake Hallwyl the corpse of Marisa Müller is found. She has been raped and strangled. Marisa led an exceptional double life. She didn't hide an affair from her jealous husband but preparations for an university life. And her education was paid for by her working as a cleaning woman.
"Excellent cast" (Die Zeit)
"The cinematography is on par with international crime blockbusters. The story is just as good." (BZ Bern)
"Mike Müller is a smash as Luc Conrad." (Basler Zeitung)
"A Swiss delight for mystery fans." (web.de)
