Scene Australia. Family McEnvy like their animal lodgers which live in a bucket in the shed. When there is no family member in the room, however, the windows need to be kept closed since they arrived. The McEnvys' lodgers are possums, but phalangers (phalangeridae), not to be mixed up with American opossums (didelphidae).  The brushtail possum is the most popular species in Australia. The ring-tailed possums (pseudocheiridae) with their ringed tail are timid of humans. Who wants to see these animals has to go deep into the woods. There are a few more possum species in the North of Queensland which are also very rare, however, they are much smaller than the brushtail possums. In the wildlife sanctuary in Currumbin, wild animals are nursed back to health. Apart from a brush tail possum which almost got killed by a branch during tree cutting works, there are currently also birds as well as a motherless wallaby. After having been nursed back to health, the animals are returned to the wild.
