Markus Borner is horrified: yet another rhino has died in the Ngorongoro Crater - the fifth within a few weeks. Poachers are not to blame, nor did the animals die a violent death. Was it a disease? Will this small group of rhinos in the Moru Mountains in the Serengeti also be afflicted? Help is needed - and time is of the essence. Together with the head of the Zoological Society in Frankfurt, Borner organises an emergency programme to provide immediate assistance for the animals.
