A Mother's Love (7/12)

Patrick, a young father, comes home to find one of his three-month-old twins, Leon, is dead. He blames his wife Tamara, whom he found by the crib, for the baby's death, and calls the police.

He tells homicide detectives Charlotte Sänger and Fritz Dellwo that this is not the first child they lost under mysterious circumstances. Their first child, Lina, was found dead in her crib after only a few weeks with no explanation. The case proves delicate, the public spotlight is on and suspicions of murder come quickly. Tamara is taken into custody. While Dellwo finds more and more clues pointing toward her guilt, Sänger makes headway in getting to know the strange, shy woman. She begins to suspect the overworked mother is being condemned prematurely. Could there be another culprit? What about the neighbor, Sabrina, a single mother, who seeks out Patrick after the tragedy and wants to comfort him?
