Jan Ullrich's career ends with a bang in 2006, with investigations into doping and a suspension. The Tour cannot allow the favorite to ride. In contrast to others such as Ivan Basso, Jan Ullrich does not succeed in making a comeback to the professional ranks. Then his personal life falls apart. First alcohol, then drugs. He flees to his villa on Mallorca – this is a mistake. After a long battle with his inner demons, finally even his family turn away from him. Jan Ullrich sinks into a mental pit.
