In season 3 of 3Hz, the Walkman tunes into the future! Felix and his friends discover that in 2043, all the inhabitants of Roegerhout will be dispossessed and their entire village, including the swimming well, will disappear. All to make way for a brand new, green power plant. With the help of the walkman, the friends find out that the power plant will not be built on top of Roegerhout by chance, but serves to hide a big secret... In 2023, will they succeed in unravelling that secret to prevent the destruction of their village?

2023. The sun is shining over Roegerhout. It seems to be a carefree summer, until Felix and his friends make an incredible discovery: the walkman no longer listens to the past, but to the future! Felix, Ella, Sammy and Noor discover that they are still best friends in 2043. Yet not everything is rosy in the future. To their dismay, the friends hear how, in 2043, people are arguing against the expropriation of their village. The survival of Roegerhout is at stake! The friends are badly shocked and face a mystery: why must their village disappear?

Felix, Ella, Noor and Sammy launch an investigation and plunge into adventure. Clues from the future and creative sleuthing in the present lead them to the forests of Roegerhout. There, they all go camping together and discover a large and mysterious building. When the friends manage to enter the building, things get super exciting as they stumble upon an underground laboratory run by two scientists: Professor Jolien Dewit and Luca Rossi. These are researching nuclear fusion, a new way of producing sustainable energy. That sounds cool, and Noor in particular is excited. However, a painful discovery follows: Roegerhout has to disappear to make way for a nuclear fusion power plant!

The friends can hardly believe it. Why, of all places, must their beloved village make way for that power station? Then they discover that the choice of Roegerhout is not accidental. The scientists are hiding a secret. In their lab, they keep a dangerously failed experiment: an extremely strong magnet. It was supposed to serve for the nuclear power plant, but the magnetic radiation turned out to be far too strong. The thing could paralyse all electricity in the country and cause total chaos! So the failed magnet is not only unusable, but also unsafe and impossible to move. Jolien and Luca see only one solution: they want to hide their failed magnet forever by building a power plant on it, even if a village has to give way in order to do so...

Felix, Ella, Noor and Sammy are determined and go all out to defuse the magnet so that Roegerhout can continue to exist. The friends face the challenge of working with the scientists to dismantle the magnet. Felix uses the walkman to get clues from their older selves in 2043, as the key to the problem will have to come from the future. Will they succeed in deactivating the magnet? Can they prevent a disaster in the future with their punishing actions in the present?
