Episode 6 - Judgment

The verdict is looming when Leonie and Carsten meet in secret at a hotel. They both become intimate, but the attempt to sleep together fails. Leonie realises that she won ’t make her peace because Carsten still doesn ’t see that he is at fault. The court should make the final decision. There, the cards are reshuffled when Jonas revises his testimony after Clara's blackmail. The situation between the siblings escalates after his statement and Jonas accuses Clara of crossing people's lines, just like their father. When Hauser announces in court that Leonie and Carsten have met the night before, Leonie has to retake the stand and the charge is under threat of being dropped. Carsten, in the meantime, recognising the damage he is causing, finally takes responsibility and pleads guilty. He has been aware that Leonie didn’t want to sleep with him at the time. With this, Clara's house of cards finally collapses.
