Freddy (Oliver Wnuk) and his wife Juliana (Meike Droste) leave the comfort zone of Constance and move to Berlin. With grandpa Fritz (Siemen Rühaak) in tow, the Kleemanns come to stay with grandma Regina (Hedi Kriegeskotte). Unlike his sister Zoë (Sophie Reiling), little Niko (Karl von Klot) is happy to live with his grandparents. While Freddy and his trusted colleague Lara (Franziska Wulf) finally want to implement their own concept as day-care center managers, Juliana sees an unexpected stop sign in her career as a doctor.
Watch out: She has an unplanned pregnancy! Now she has to make a difficult life decision: A third child does not fit into the current family and couple concept of two full-time professionals! The problem is that Zoe is anything but happy after the new beginning is initially paid little attention by the parents, who are preoccupied with themselves.
Only when the teenager runs away Freddy and Juliana react. Now they have to find each other again as a couple to stay together as a family. Once again, the question is: who is in it and how?
