Wilder and Kägi are feverishly searching for a female officer whom the serial offender has chosen as his third victim. Apparently, the woman let a drug courier freeze to death. Is the officer now threatened with going to the same fate?

Wilder, Kägi and their team investigate day and night to prevent further killings of police officers. In the Darknet, they come across a forum in which an agitator under the name "White Wolf" announces violence against officers. Is this the murderer they are looking for?

In addition, the investigators search the archives of the public prosecutor's office for police officers who may have been involved in abuse of authority resulting in death. Two out of three could be found and warned so far. There is no trace of the third person. The person in question is Patrizia Schellenberg. Three years earlier, the law enforcement officer was accused of being complicit in the freezing death of an arrested drug courier. But the case was dropped.
When a video of Schellenberg appears, the worst must be feared. A feverish race begins to find him. Wilder and Kägi search all the cold storage rooms in the region.
