Fatal Alibi
A young motorcyclist dies after an accident on the streets of Prague. Karla Lorenz is involved in this tragic event through a professional meeting at the time of the crime with an employee of the Czech Ministry of Economy: Daniel Stokr was the alleged driver who was involved in the accident. Karla gives him an alibi. The victim is the son of a police officer. For Commissioner Horava there is no doubt about Stokr's guilt. Like Karla, Stokr works on a German-Czech prestige project on artificial intelligence in the medical sector. When he is unexpectedly suspected of embezzlement, the project is on the brink of collapse. The accident, the embezzlement - everything seems to be connected and all traces lead to him. Karla's co-worker Nikolaus Tanz and Stokr's superior, State Secretary Lenka Zdenek, are also convinced of this. Karla is under pressure. At her side, Nikolaus is unwavering, and together with Karla he and Nikolaus are on the trail of the truth...
