A strange smell wafts through the garden and gives Petronella the sneezes – and every seventh sneeze causes an object to change shape! Before any more serious harm is done, Petronella, Leah and Louis must find out where the smell is coming from and get rid of it. They follow the trail to the Cookiebrite’s house and have to locate the smell quickly before their parents notice Petronella's chaotic random enchantments. The closer they get to the source, the faster Petronella sneezes. Finally, it turns out that the smell is triggered by a perfume which Paul bought for Mary for their wedding anniversary. Before Leah and Louis can figure out what to do with it, one of Petronella’s sneezes breaks the bottle! The cloud of perfume triggers a magical firework that wreaks havoc in the kitchen. But once the cloud has dissipated, Petronella is finally cured of her "perfume allergy". And to replace the broken present, the twins and Petronella decorate the living room with beautiful paper flowers, which Mary likes much better than any gift money can buy.
