Lena Bauer, a young tennis player, is accused of having maliciously pushed her toughest competitor Victoria Koch down the stairs in a subway station. Victoria "only" broke her hand, but she could have been killed. The two women are bitter rivals, they are both about to make the jump into the national tennis league, there is an important tournament coming up and a generous sponsorship contract awaits the winner. Quickly, it becomes clear to Romy and Ada, that there are no simple truths in this case. Lena protests her innocence. Why would she stay at the scene after the fact only to be recognized by Victoria? And why is Victoria sticking so firmly to her accusation? Is she trying to intentionally damage Lena and does she perhaps know who the perpetrator is? The attractive Falk Golnau, who trains both women, emerges as a key figure in the case. It turns out that Vicky had an affair with Falk. Romy's professionalism is tested to the limit, because opposing counsel is none other than Ben Ritter. Ada is surprised at how hard Ben and Romy are clashing with one another. Are they just representing their clients robustly or has Romy still not let go of her feelings for Ben despite her protestations to the contrary? Things are not going smoothly between Ada and Max either.
