While the castle prepares for the ball and servant Johann wishes he was one of the blue-bloods, he doesn't realize his true love is right before his eyes. It takes two mischievous fairies to make him see...
Archduchess Ottilie and her servants are in the middle of preparations for the big birthday bash for Princess Aurora. Lowly servant Johann wants nothing more than to be "one of them". The young manservant doesn't notice that the Princess's handmaiden Lisbeth has a crush on him. Thank God for Mrs. Worry and Mrs. Happy. The two jolly cooks spend the whole day at their steaming stoves. What no one suspects: They're actually fairies who possess the lucky Goloshes of Fortune. Can they help Johann and Lisbeth see their very different wishes come true? Sure enough: By accident, Johann puts on the "Goloshes of Fortune" and is immediately transformed into Prince Ludwig. He may look like a nobleman now, but he's still a far cry from a real prince. And strangely, he keeps thinking of Lisbeth... While Johann follows his dreams, his adventures and experiences make him into the man he always wanted to be. When he gets in touch with his own feelings, he finds his true love as well, to which his resentment of the "higher-ups" blinded him all this time.
