Falk is in the hospital, injured. His father Hans is visiting when his girlfriend Petra appears in the door. She recognizes Hans Kupfer from TV, starts to realize Falk is not who she thinks he is. Deeply hurt, she tells Falk she doesn’t want to see him anymore. Roman Kupfer celebrates the German victory in the Soccer World Cup with his gang of neo-Nazis. When they run into a group of leftist anarchists, the situation gets out of hand. Roman’s girlfriend Svenja is killed. Roman shows up at his mother Vera’s door, bloodstained and in shock. His gang comes to pick Roman up the next day. They want to avenge Svenja’s death and Roman to come along. Vera tries in vain to keep her son from going. She asks her ex-husband Falk to help: He finds the gang of right-wingers, threatening the teens at gunpoint.
Peter Görlitz is incredibly grateful to Nicole Henning for her help in getting his used car dealership off the ground. He gives her a trip to Majorca in gratitude. As they saunter through Palma at night, Nicole runs into former Stasi Major Gerd Rothals, who’s responsible for the death of Nicole’s brother Robert. Günther Gaucke tells Hans Kupfer he’s found Dunja Hausmann and has a written statement from her, blaming Hans for Mischa Liebermann’s death.
Hans tries to find out what Gaucke has done with Dunja and how she’s doing. Vera Kupfer and Bernd Krohnak are getting along privately and not just on their job at the Holding. But when Vera overhears a phone call between Krohnak and Falk, she withdraws again.
At the furniture factory, Martin realizes their investor Breger has pocketed the loan they got and vanished. Martin and his two co-workers Rita and Hüne signed for the loan. Now it’s not only the factory that’s doomed, but they have a huge debt in their names as well.
