Inspector Mehmet Özakin investigates the death of a German businessman and his cab driver in a Turkish seaside town. Soon it turns out the intended victim may have been the cabbie, who shuttled prostitutes for powerful customers.
A double murder leads Inspector Mehmet Özakin outside the gates of Istanbul to the tiny coastal town of Naki. German businessman Andreas Borchert and his cab driver Mesut Demirci are dead. The evidence points to a mugging that turned deadly. But then the trail leads to Borchert's former mentor, old shipping entrepreneur Cetin Akbay and his daughter Filiz, who now runs their cargo business. Mehmet thinks something is fishy about the Akbays. Looking into the identity of the second victim Mesut Demirci as a matter of routine, Mehmet discovers the seemingly innocent taxi driver had enemies of his own. Old Mr. Akbay used Mesut's discrete limo service to shuttle in prostitutes, and so did his neighbor, famous movie star Yigil. Was the intended victim perhaps not Andreas Borchert at all, but the cabbie who knew too much? Soon thereafter, the only witness is dead of violent causes too: Shifty pimp Umut Kahraman. That same day, coroner Derya gets a very young drowned girl on her slab, who was apparently raped before she was killed. Inspector Mehmet Özakin has to race to catch the culprit before even more victims have to die ?
